I have always been fascinated by the art of storytelling. All forms of artistic expression tell a story and I have been consumed by the desire to craft my own.

 

At a young age I would write stories and poetry, paint pictures and was captivated by the adventures I found in films and video games. I would become so emotionally attached to these stories while never noticing how the music played such a vital role to the emotional connection.

 

This all changed at the age of 12 when my pre-teenage angst introduced me to rock music and the stories these artists had to tell which very much mirrored my own. I fell deeply in love with music and so I bought my first guitar and was off to the races. 

 

After playing in many bands throughout my younger years and working a physically demanding job as an Auto Glass Technician I decided to use my love of music and story-telling and return to school to learn how to put the two together.

 

My plan was to earn my degree and retire into a new career that I loved. One that would allow me to use my talents and push my boundaries into new frontiers.

 

That is what led me to Full Sail University. They took my dreams seriously. They inspired me to combine my musical talents with my passion for storytelling. They gave me the skills to craft music that would enhance a directors vision and bring the story to life. Music that would pull the audience in the intended emotional direction of the story.
